Limitations en disques durs ??

Bonjour,

Ma machine a quatre disques durs (1 système en SATA et trois autres de stockage, 2 en SATA et 1 en IDE)
Ils sont tous quatre reconnus par le BIOS

Sou linux (Mandriva 2008), je n'en "vois" que trois.
Si j'en débranche un, les trois autres sont visibles et montables, mais les quatre ensemble, que nenni !

fstab indique :

J'ai modifié fstab par l'insertion de la dernière ligne :

/dev/sda1 / ext3 relatime 1 1
/dev/sda8 /home ext3 relatime 1 2
# Entry for /dev/hdb1 :

Et j'ai rebooté (j'aurais dû attendre vos sages conseils !!)

le /dev/sdc1 n'a pas étéapprécié, je me suis retrouvé en ligne de commande avec rin de monté.
Et pas de vi ou de emacs pour corriger le fstab !! :=(
Heureusement j'avais fait une copie de fstab avant, un coup de cp et c'est reparti

Le quatrième disque est bien reconnu par le BIOS, mais pas par LINUX !??

Une idée les amis ?

Bonsoir,

Il faut l'ajouter dans le fstab !

Les disques internes IDE ou SATA ne sont pas montés automatiquement s'ils ne sont pas déclarés dans le fichier /etc/fstab.

Vous devez creer un dossier de montage : /media/sdc1 par exemple
Et vous ajoutez cette ligne à la fin du fiduer fstab :
/dev/sdc1 /media/sdc1 ext3 defaults 0 0

Pour l'instant il n'y a que 3 disques reconnu.
As tu branché le 4ème?!

Avant de redémarrer affiche le résultat de
 cat /etc/fstab


P.S. On n'ajoute jamais quelque chose dans /etc/fstab sans connaître d'abord les partitions.
