Bonjour,

J'ai installer la version 12.04 de ubuntu et j'ai un soucis avec mon imprimante LexmarkZ517 car les pilotes Z600 ne semblent plus compatible avec mon imprimante
Aidez moi svp

1) Ta démarche semble logique pourtant si on regarde :

Est-ce que tu as fait ?

2) Ceci dit, d'après ce site ton imprimante est probablement fonctionnelle avec udev :
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HardwareSupportComponentsPrinters/LexmarkPrinters

Ceci me laisse penser que si tu la branches en USB, tu devrais voir apparaître dans 
/dev/usb
(ou dans 
/dev
) un fichier 
/dev/usb/lp0
, est-ce le cas ?

Que dit, juste après avoir branché l'imprimante, la commande : 
dmesg | tail
?

3) En admettant que le device existe, il suffirait alors d'installer cups et de configurer ton imprimante via l'interface web de cups (http://localhost:631) après avoir récupéré un ppd qui va bien.

... récupérable ainsi :

Bon mais sinon, de nombreux fabriquant d'imprimantes font l'effort de fournir des imprimantes qui s'installent bien sous linux et fournissent le pilote qui va bien sous linux, pour moi les plus sérieux dans le domaine étant HP (et je ne dis pas ça parce que j'ai des actions chez HP, jusqu'en pratique, j'ai observé qu'elles s'installent toujours sans difficulté sous linux). Alors si ton imprimante en fin de vie c'est peut-être le bon moment d'en changer.

ai fais la procedure mais qu memen de configurer l imprimante il me disent que ce pilote es ma,quant  /usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoz600
Comment l'installer ?

Je ne connais pas ce pilote (je ne l'ai pas trouvé sous debian), mais peut-être que ça existe sous ubuntu et que ton gestionnaire de paquets le connaît. On va chercher avec apt-file qu'il faut au préalable installer : 

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install apt-file
apt-file update


Puis : 

apt-file search rastertoz600


D'après ce que je lis ici il existait un paquet z600_cups mais uniquement en i386 :

Mais de toute façon il ne semble plus/pas exister dans les dépôts officiels ! 

apt-cache search z600


Ta seule chance reste que lexmark mette à disposition un pilote sur son site et espérer le faire marcher (j'imagine que c'était ta première démarche).

c'est ce que tu as installé la première fois ? Car il a un nom qui me plaît bien a priori :-)

Essaye de configurer ton imprimante dans cups via l'interface web.

Qu'est ce qui te bloque ? Tu ne comprends pas comment ajouter l'imprimante ? Ou cups ne la trouve pas ?
