Solution
Download the patch file (.zip file) to the desktop of the PC, and double-click the file to and extract the patch files to your desktop.
The patch file: mp4x0tMPSxpsp2
When the file extraction has concluded, a folder with the same name as the patch file will be created on the desktop of the PC. Double-click the folder to open it, and The following four files are contained.
mp4x0tMPSxpsp2.exe
mp4x0tMPSxpsp2.ini
UpdtRep4.dll
common (MpNetIpc.ini)
Execute the file mp4x0tMPSxpsp2.exe.
After the patch file has been executed, the following dialog "Update complete successfully!! You MUST Restart Windows now." Will be displayed. Click Yes to restart the PC.
Note: In case that this file runs with not affected software, the following messages appear."There is no need to update this system."
How to confirm whether the patch file has been applied or not:
Click the MultiPASS button displayed on the Canon MultiPASS toolbar.
Note: If the Canon MultiPASS toolbar is not displayed, select Start, All Programs, Canon MultiPASS Suite 4.x, and Canon MultiPASS Toolbar to display the Canon MultiPASS toolbar.
In the "My MultiPASS"-window click on the MultiPASS menu toolbar and click About MultiPASS.
Confirm that the driver versions Build number has the letter "t" appended to it, as shown in this example:

After the patch : Build 4x0axxt
