Sous KDE ça s'appelle ksysguard. Et il y a bien entendu un équivalent sous gnome. Pour ce qui est de monitorer la charge d'un PC tu peux tracer des courbes avec par exemple munin, qui va collecter des points mesurés périodiquement par une sonde (munin-node + munin-cron).
