Bonjour, je viens d'installer Linux sur mon pc portable, tout en laissant Vista, mais voilà, en voulant installer internet, j'ai inséré le CD d'installation de ma box, qui n'est pas compatible avec Linux. J'ai donc essayé de regarder des moyens d'avoir une connexion mais je ne comprends rien ^^'

Comment faire pour avoir internet?

salut :-)

peut tu nous envoyer le resultat de les commande "dmesg" et "lspci" qui tu aura tapé dans un terminal !on y verra plus clair .

Oui oui j'ai vu! Je suis sur le site là! Mais je crois qu'il y a encore un truc que je comprends pas... :/

Je suis dans la rubrique "ubuntu", donc ils disent de mettre "sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter" dans un terminal, mais quand je le rentre, la ligne suivante c'est "[sudo] password for anais:", sauf que là je peux rien rentrer --'

Est-ce qu'il faut télécharger le driver ou juste en écrivant ça, ça devrait marcher en l'activant ou en faisant un truc du genre...? :/

Cela ne veut rien dire, windows peut activer le wifi par défaut, alors que Linux le désactive !
Tu n'as pas un petit bouton wifi sur ton ordinateur, à vérifier ?

Ah: j'ai trouvé un truc! Quand je vais dans "pilotes de périphériques", y'a broadcom B43 wireless driver et pilote réseau sans-fil Broadcom STA qui ne sont pas activés! Et quand j'essaye de les activer, y'a un message d'erreur!

Comme tu n'as pas internet, on va chercher les pilotes sur un autre ordinateur, et il faudra les transférer par USB.
