Si ton overclocking bloque c'est qu'un élément ne le supporte pas. A mon avis c'est la RAM. Ceci dit l'overclocking est une opération inutile qui raccourci la durée de vie du matériel pour un gain minime et qui annule la garantie. |

il n'y a aucun probleme pour overclocker un E 6550, je l'ai fait monter sans forcer à 3150 Mhz sur une Asus P5KC : http://ww.commentcamarche.net/faq/sujet 10680 overclocking des cartes meres a chipset p35 Probablement, c'est ta mémoire qui plante, comme te le dit Scorpius, car il faut modifier le ratio FSB:RAM dans le bios, sinon elle va bloquer tout de suite, la DDR2 ne dépassant pas 10% sans modifier les tensions des barettes C'est peut etre aussi ta carte mère qui a un chipset pas adapté à l'overclocking, car les chipsets VIA ne sont plus conseillés de nos jours, il faut prendre Intel P35, X38, X48 ou nVidia 680i, 750i et supérieurs Sur le principe de l'overclocking, bien sur les CPU actuels sont déjà puissants, mais pourquoi ne pas s'amuser un peu, c'est tellement facile avec le matos actuel, et VapyDark a complètement raison sur les conséquences... |

Dans ce cas quelle ram me conseillez-vous? Ca vaut le coup de s'acheter une autre carte mère ou je peux la laisser pour l'instant et la changer par la suite? L'opération pour changer la carte mere est-elle compliqué? Navré pour toutes ces questions ^^. Je suis vraiment tenté d'augmentez les competences de mon pc. Il est vraie que je peux demander des miracles sur un pc que j'ai acheté à 650 euros :D. |

Dire qu'on ne perd que 5 ans sur 30 en overclockant un proc est de la math théorique qui ne reflète absolument pas la réalité, pour la simple raison que ca dépend des conditions d'utilisation (température, fréquence d'utilisation) sachant que les condition optimale de temperature est de 30° et qu'a la pratique on atteint les 60° à 70° le calcul est déjà faussé. à la pratique les machine overclocké lachent au bout d'1 a 2 ans. La encore je c'est une question d'experience : ceux qui auront eu une experience heureuse me contrediront et les autres iront dans mons sens. à l'utilisation le gain est ridicule et occasionne des problème sur du matériel d'entrée et de moyenne gamme. Si tu veux une machine réellement plus puissante, le changement de carte mère, processeur et mémoires et plus indiqué. |

on ne va pas polémiquer sur les durées, mais meme si overclocker réduit la durée de vie d'un CPU de moitié (ce qui n'est pas prouvé), un PC et donc son CPU est dépassé au bout de 5ans, donc ca sert à quoi de se dire qu'on veut le garder 10 ans avec ses performances d'origine... Tu as peut etre eu une expérience malheureuse, mais si on suit précisement les indications données dans tous les guides d'overclocking, comme ceux que je cite dans mon 1er message, il n'y a aucune raison que ca se passe mal condition optimale de temperature est de 30° et qu'a la pratique on atteint les 60° à 70° J'ai overclocké un E 6550 à 3150 Mhz sans souci, il ne dépassait pas 40°C en surf Internet, bien sur il ne faut pas hésiter à investir dans un Ventirad de qualité, et une pate thermique de qualité aussi à la pratique les machine overclocké lachent au bout d'1 a 2 ans je pense que c'est très pessimiste et basé sur aucune étude sérieuse, mais sur des impressions à l'utilisation le gain est ridicule Mon PC avec E6550 à 2.33 Ghz (standard) obtient envion 6000 à PC Mark 2005, il passe à 7200 avec le CPU à 3.15 Ghz, cela représente un gain de 20%, ce n'est pas négligeable L'overcloking est un jeu, bien sur ce n'est pas indispensable, mais ce n'est pas dangereux si on respecte un minimum de règles de bon sens |

Sans chercher la polémique ce que je dit est basé sur l'experience des utilisateurs qui me confient leur matériel en dépannage depuis bientot 10 ans, donc pas de cas exceptionnel. En ce qui me concerne j'ai eu une A-Bit BP6 bi proc que j'ai overclocké, elle a tenu 3 ans mais j'ai quand meme du changer des condensateurs sur la carte mère. Ceci dit tu as raison sur un point, si on décide de le faire malgré tout ca doit être bien fait, et pas juste changer les valeurs dans le setup. Je tiens compte du fait que les personnes qui se renseignent ici ne sont pas des expert (sinon il ne demanderaient pas) et qu'il doivent etre averti du risque lié à l'overclocking. De cette manière l'utilisateur est averti. Après il fait ses choix. |

je ne connais effectivement pas la durée de fonctionnement d'un PC overclocké, car je ne pratique l'overclocking que temporairement, la puissance des CPU modernes étant bien suffisante pour ce que je fais De plus, les sites comme overclocking-masters ne parlent pas de cet aspect des choses Ta participation est donc très intéressante pour des statistiques de panne, car si j'ai bien compris tu travailles dans un atelier de réparation de PC ? pourrais tu nous donner des chiffres ? sur les retours pour réparation, combien sont des PC overclockés ?

avant d'aller plus loin, il faut connaitre un peu plus ta config, peux tu charger everest et poster le rapport carte mère stp ? car ton CPU peut fonctionner avec un FSB de 333 Mhz (1333Mhz effectifs), mais apparemment, ta carte mère ne peut pas dépasser 266 Mhz (1066 effectifs): http://www.ecs.com.tw/... Elle est donc déjà au départ mal adaptée à ton CPU, car elle le sous-cadence à 266 x 7 = 1862 Mhz au lieu des 2333 Mhz standard Je comprends que tu veuilles au moins overclocker la carte mère dans ces conditions |
