bonjour,
soit c'est ton pc qui ne boot pas bien sur le cdrom, il faudrait faire un essai avec un autre cd dont tu es certain qu'il boot (l'install d'Xp, ...)
Soit c'est ton cd gravé qui n'est pas bon, là tu peux le tester en le bootant sur un autre pc

peux tu m'expliquer la procédure aàsuivre pour utiliser ultimate
les étapes utiles et avec quel logiciels .

ubcd c'est des dizaines de logiciels, si tu l'utilises c'est que tu as un besoin, ce n'est pas l'inverse, voila la liste des utilitaires existants : http://www.ubcd4win.com/contents.htm

personnellement je n'en ai pas besoin
1. on m'a prété cet ordi et je souhaite faire des test avec ultimate boot cd
2. j'ai téléchargé ultimate boot cd , je l'ai décompresser ensuite , j'ai utilisé burn4 frée pour graver l'image iso
3. j'ai configuré le bios pour booter sur le cd (ultimate )
4. ca marche pas !

Pour UBCD tu as téléchargé quoi comme fichier , un .zip, .exe ou .iso
si c'est bien le .iso, et c'est celui là qui est le plus simple à utiliser car c'est directement une image du cd qu'il faut juste copier, tu n'aurais pas dû avoir à le decompresser
donc une image .iso cela se copie directement sur un cd sans rien faire sur les données, si ton logiciel ne le fait pas, regardes : http://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/sujet 731 logiciels de gravure gratuits , et plus particulièrement # BurnCDCC qui ne sait faire qu'une seule chose, graver une image .iso (c'est juste une piste car moir j'utilise nero ou sonic pour graver)

If you have problems extracting the archive, try comparing your download with the file size or checksum above. If you don't already have tools to calculate the MD5 or SHA-1 checksum, I recommend eXpress CheckSum Calculator, though there are tons of other checksum calculators or verifiers around that you can easily locate with a simple Internet search.
After you have successfully extracted the single ISO file, you now need to burn it to CD. This is another topic that frequently trips up newbies who are not familiar with their CD recording software, such as Nero or Easy CD Creator. Some of you end up burning the ISO file itself to the CD, or some other weird results. The easiest way to burn the ISO file to CD is to use a small specialized freeware such as BurnCDCC or Active@ ISO Burner. Where possible, experiment with CDRW discs instead of CDR discs so that you can start over if something goes wrong, instead of churning out coasters.
If you wish to try the experimental option of running UBCD from a USB memory stick, you will need to either burn the ISO file to a CD first, or extract the files within the ISO file to your hard disk using a suitable utility. Then, use tools\ubcd2usb\ubcd2usb.bat to write UBCD to your USB memory stick. Note that ubcd2usb.bat will format and erase your entire USB memory stick. Due to its experimental nature, some or all of the UBCD apps may not work even if your machine supports booting from a USB memory stick.

si tu as récupéré celui-ci il faut graver le fichier iso sans extraire le contenu. Mais perso, c'est pas ce qu'il y a de mieux comme live cd. Autant prendre un live cd Knoppix ou Ubuntu au moins tu as le choix des langues (FR).

j'ai essayé linux live j'ai dut faire 1erreur magistrale impossible de rédémarrer mon ordi obligé de formaté, j'ai perdu toutes mes données !
