Je reviens d'un forum Américain, qqn posait la même question que toi... était-ce toi ?
La réponse était 'F10' pour aller dans le setup de CompaQ avec cette particularité que j'avais oubliée :
Le setup de CompaQ est rangé dans une PARTITION spéciale... si tu as fait sauter cette partition par FDISK, si tu as installé un nouveau disque... ou si tu as, par inadvertance abimé cette partition, tu es mal ! il te faut réutiliser le setup de CompaQ a récupérer sur leur site (à moins que tu aies une disquette).

Anybody know how to get into the bios/cmos on a compaq 5834. I was in it one time but it was by accident after pounding on the keys in frustration so I know there is one. The guys at compaq won't tell me so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Generally Compaq Setup can be entered by hitting the 'F10' key when booting up. As soon as you see the cursor go to the upper right hand side of the screen, hit 'F10'.
The Compaq setup program resides on a small partition on the hard drive and if you have fdisked and reformatted or installed a new hard drive you will need to use the Compaq setup program. Download it from the Compaq web site.
