I appreciate that you chose to report this error
and apologize for the trouble we have caused you!
We have recently released Skype version 3.8 and that contains
an updated version of this component.
To solve this problem I recommend that you upgrade to the Skype 3.8 version
released on April 29th.
There are two ways for you to do that:
1. Go to the Skype website and click where it says "Download Skype"
www.skype.com
2. From the Help Menu inside Skype (not the website) - click on "Check
for Updates"
The Skype 3.8 version also adds many new features, which you can read about
on the site.
When you upgrade - please make sure to go into Options and select "Upgrade
Skype add-on for Internet Explorer" in the first screen of the installer
wizard.

Some background/more info:
* The Skype web plugins are intended to find phone numbers on web pages
and turn them into clickable buttons. It has been built to make it easy
for you to call the numbers or even send an sms.
* If you would rather not have this functionality added to your
Internet Explorer the easiest way to get rid of it is to disable it
by going into the "Tools-Manage add-ons-Enable or disable add-ons"
dialog inside Microsoft Internet Explorer (you might have to press
the ALT-key to see the menu).
* By right-clicking on a highlighted number you will see more things
you can do with it such as:
Copy phone number
Add to SkypeOut Contacts
Add to SkypeFind
Send SMS (if it is a mobile number)
