Hi
Sorry I have to anwer in english since my french is not that good. I also
remarked a no charging when the accu of my new "mpman CS-157FM"
was empty the first time. Either via USB cable connected to the PC nor
an external 230V/5V USB-Power supply was charging the fully empty
accu first. I remarked a slow blinking between bright or dimmed display
and the loading status battery sign at the top right. But always, after many
hours of loading, after disconnecting the USB cable the player made a
power down with the low power display (a battery with a black cross).
After playing around with that problem and checking the inside where I
found nothing special to worry, I wrote down the accu datas first (in
case I have to replace it later).
The accu is manufactured by PTI (
http://www.ptibattery.com/en/home.asp)
and is called "PTI R052025SP" which belongs to its size of 5/20/25mm.
It's a 3.7V 200mAh type for your information.
I always had the impression the accu can't load while displaying the whole
bright display so I also tried to darken this display while charging it.
And yes, it's possible in the LCD settings to set the display to switch of
after the desired amount of seconds. So I set it to 5 seconds and the
display goes dark after the last use of a button.
Now since I made this, my mpman was loading again! Try it out, maybe it
is a solution for you, too! The power switch had to be in the ON position by
the way.
Don't be shy to reply in french again since I understand it quite good anyway!
But I will be in holidays soon and maybe I can check answers later on.
Regards!
