J'ai trouvé. J'ai trifouillé un peu le BIOS comme tu mùe l'as conseillé Philo mais en tant que débutant j'ai préféré ne rien toucher.
Par contre, en réfléchissant par rapport au BIOS je suis retrourné sur MSI. Et là, en navigant j'ai trouvé un driver qui avait dû m'échapper : VIA PIDE/SATA RAID. Ca m'a fait pensé à ce que tu me disais à propos du DMA, etc. alors j'ai téléchargé, installé et ça marche.
Impeccable. Merci beaucoup à vous les gars, Lance-Yien et Philo2100! Enfin un PC qui marche ça fait plaisir.

si tout roule sur ton pc à part cette lenteur constatée
c'est qu'il faut voir coté nettoyage/sécurité
pour le moment on sait que tu as "Panda", il est à jour?
---
voila ce que je te propose (donc dans l'ordre):
1°) télécharges « CCleaner » si tu ne l'as pas déjà:
https://www.01net.com/404/
après l'install. lances-le et
clic sur "erreurs" (à gauche) coches toutes les cases, puis
clic sur "chercher des erreurs" une fois fini,
clic sur "reparer les erreurs"
au message pour sauvegarder la base de registre clic "oui"
dans la fenêtre qui apparait clic sur "corriger toutes les erreurs" puis sur "ok"
recommencer jusqu'a ce qu'il n'y aie plus d'erreurs.
dans la colonne de gauche clic sur "nettoyeur"puis "analyse".
attendre la fin et clic sur "lancer le nettoyage" autant de fois que nécessaire.
note: si tu as plusieurs partions tu pourras les ajouter au nettoyeur dans "options" mais c pour +tard
et tu feras mm une defrg
2°) télécharges « ewido » si tu ne l'as pas déjà: http://perso.orange.fr/entraide-hijackthis/Ewido/
Cliques sur « update » fais les mise à jour ensuite clique sur « scanner » puis sur « complete scan system ».

"Deleted" tout ce qu'il te trouve.
3°) télécharges « Hijackthis » si tu ne l'as pas déjà:
www.01net.com
clic d sur le fichier => "exécute" =>"do a scan and save a logfile". une fois fini tu vas avoir un "rapport.txt" (dans le dossier où tu l’as telechargé)
postes ici ce rapport
(avec tes propres commentaires et conclusions sur le résultat)

salut lance_yien moi aussi mon PC a ralenti depuis quelque temps tout comme al76
j'ai windows Xp et je suis a court d'iddée.
j'ai un anti-virus qui se nomme securitoo anti-virus firewall et qui a mon avis fonctionne très bien.
j'ai moi aussi telecharger CCleaner comme tu avais conseillé à al76 et qui a trouver plein d'erreurs mais je n'y ai rien compris donc je t'ai fait un copier coller du rapport de ccleaner :

J'ai ensuite telecharger Hijackthis , je l'ai installé mais l'application refuse de se lancer.
sa serait sympa de ra part si tu pouvait trouver un moyen.
j'ai windows Xp et je suis a court d'iddée.
j'ai un anti-virus qui se nomme securitoo anti-virus firewall et qui a mon avis fonctionne très bien.
j'ai moi aussi telecharger CCleaner comme tu avais conseillé à al76 et qui a trouver plein d'erreurs mais je n'y ai rien compris donc je t'ai fait un copier coller du rapport de ccleaner :

J'ai ensuite telecharger Hijackthis , je l'ai installé mais l'application refuse de se lancer.
sa serait sympa de ra part si tu pouvait trouver un moyen.

15 mois de fonctionnement, et elle date de quand ta dernière défragmentation?
j'ai connu des pc saturés (reste 5% d'espace libre) et non défragmenté depuis des lustres et qui avaient la même maladie.....et on, se demande pourquoi un pc rame....je ne dis pas que c'est ton cas, mais d'abord il faut éliminer les causes les plus simple à 100%.

Merci beaucoup pour tes tuyaux. Je reprends dans l'ordre :
donc oui j'ai Panda, version officielle, donc avec mises à jour quotidienne et fonction anti-spyware en plus.
J'ai donc télécharger CCleaner qui m'a en effet trouvé pas mal de choses à réparer. J'ai tout réparer jusqu'à la fin comme tu me l'as expliqué.
J'ai télécharger ewido qui n'a rien trouvé. Je pense que Panda a bien fait son travail.

J'ai juste remarqué quelque chose qui me semble suspect, c'est que dans mes processus comme dans le rapport de HiJackThis j'ai le fichier svchost.exe qui revient plusieurs fois (5 fois dans les processus, le fichier rundll32 lui y est 2 fois).
Donc pour l'instant rien de neuf, à part que ça me perturbe de voir que j'ai 38 processus dont au moins 10 sont identiques (au moins le nom).
Voilà, encore merci de ton aide. Si tu as d'autres idées je suis, bien sûr, 100% preneur.

PS : pour répondre à Philo2100 : 15 mois c'est la durée pendant laquelle mon PC a marché correctement avant qu'il ne plante sévèrement. C'était il y a 6 mois. Sur 144Go je n'en utilise que 17 et la dernière défragmentation date de la semaine dernière. Merci quand même.

donc oui j'ai Panda, version officielle, donc avec mises à jour quotidienne et fonction anti-spyware en plus.
J'ai donc télécharger CCleaner qui m'a en effet trouvé pas mal de choses à réparer. J'ai tout réparer jusqu'à la fin comme tu me l'as expliqué.
J'ai télécharger ewido qui n'a rien trouvé. Je pense que Panda a bien fait son travail.

Salut,
Donc j'ai tout refait dans l'ordre et toujours rien de neuf. Mais après avoir écumer le net je crois que je peux reformuler mon problème : j'ai trouvé exactement de quoi il retourne.
Donc en fait le problème est du au fait qu'en réinstallant XP j'ai formaté la partition cachée avec la config originelle de mon PC. Everest m'a permis de récupérer tous les pilotes et donc il ne doit me manquer que quelques détails à mettre à jour pour que les transferts de données (et la vitesse du PC en général) retrouve leur vitesse d'origine.
J'ai téléchargé les pilotes graphiques, les pilotes sons et le Chipset 915P. Je vois pas du tout ce qu'il me manque pour que mon PC retrouve sa rapidité donc si quelqu'un voit et peut me dire... ça serait la fête au village.

Tu as donc réinstallé aussi les drivers de ta carte mère ...?

Je pense à un truc....j'en ai connu qui se demandait pourquoi leur PC ramait et avant pas...j'ai résolu le soucis en faisant vérifié dans le Bios ,le ratio cpu/ram, je ne dis que c'est ton cas, mais bon...
Si je met le Fsb à 100 il tourne au ralenti....au début quand ça m'est arrivé, je croyais que le processeur était mort...LOL
En fait en le remettant à 133 tout rentre dans l'odre !
Donc vérifie!
FSB Frequency : elle sert à régler la cadence d’origine du processeur, pour donner la fréquence exacte du processeur, il vous faut multiplier le coefficient par le FSB, exemple : 15x133, 1995 Mhz (donne un 2400+) plus on monte en FSB, plus la bande passante est importante, et plus le processeur tourne vite, il vous faudra de la bonne mémoire pour tirer partie au maximum de cette option.
CPU Clock Ratio : cette option vous permettra de changer le coefficient multiplicateur du processeur, plus on descend en coef, plus on peut peaufiner sa fréquence maximal, elle est très appréciée des overclockers, le problème quil se posera c’est que vous devrez monter plus haut en FSB, donc posséder de la très bonne mémoire, et plus généralement, un matériel de bonne qualité.

Je me disais aussi...que mes inquiètudes avec la config des DD, avec quelque chose à voir ...content de voir que ça marche !
