Bonjour à tous;

Voicie quelque temps que je me péne à trouver un pilote pour la carte son "16-bit nsoundblaster Pro compatible + AC 97 codec"
Je suis parvenu à installer un pilote AC 97,aucun problème jusque la ,juste que la musique joue ,mais aucun son n'est émis par les différentes sorties audio.
Je continue à penser que le pilote n'est pas compatible,et que c'est la l'origine du problème.Si l'un d'entre vous à une suggestion plus intéligente,je suis tout à votre écoute.

Configuration: laptop Gericom hummer 2430e combo
Intel celeron 2.4
256 ram

I have a gericom hummer 2440 with a "16-bit soundblaster pro compatible +AC97 codec". I had problems in finding the driver, but at last I found the original cd with the audio drivers. They are produced by VIA technologies Inc. If you can't find them on internet tell me. I'll try to send you my drivers by mail (about 18Mb).

I'm really sorry but i've sent a mail in order to get the sound driver for a gericom hummer 2740e (the card : "16-bit Soundblaster Pro compatible + AC 97 codec") and nobody answers.
I've sent emails at the directions i have found in the forum but nobody answers.

I understand that nobody wants to read an unknown email but i really need a clue, a direccion, a reference. How can i find my driver, i feel really mad, searching for months.

So please, if someone could indicate me the direccion of my driver in VIA website, i would be the happiest girl of the world. I don't need your answer by email, but in this forum. Sure that exist more persons like us who will be as happy than I if they find the driver's direccion in this page.

J'étais dans le même cas (Gericom Hummer 2740e).
Le driver son du Hummer 755IN4 (récupérer sur le site de Gericom) fonctionne parfaitement, c'est la même carte.

i hope you aren´t mad at me for beeing another lousy internet user asking for a driver dowload, but i´m quite desperate....same problem as other people: reinstalled windwos, no sound.
