Oui, merci, je m'en suis aperçu, que les postes étaient nombreux, ça fait 3 jours que je suis dessus !!

C'est pour ça que je créé ce poste.

Si quelqu'un peu m'aider à trouver une solution ou bien me donner des pistes que je n aurai pas encore explorées.........

pour configurer samba facillement, à partir du menu kde tu vas dans
Système->Configuration->Réseau->Configuration de Samba

dans une console pour le lancer, l'arreter, redemarrer.. à la main en console
Utilisation : /etc/init.d/smb {start|stop|restart|status|condrestart}

Dans le centre de contrôle de mandrake tu peux preciser si tu le lance au démarrage ou non

Oui je sais comment le configurer, c fait .

je pe accéder aus partages qui se trouvent sur les postes xp, mais je ne peu pas accéder aux partage du poste linux a partir des postes xp.

Je pense qu il y a probleme quelque part, soit sur linux, soit sur xp.

Voilà ce qu je ferai, ou tenterai du moins :
- Déjà il faut que ton utilisateur "manu" existe sur les 2 systèmes avec le même mot de passe pour ce que tu veux (valid user).
- Sur la machine GNU/Linux en root rajouter :

smbpasswd -a manu

Merci de t interressé à mon cas, mais ca ne fonctionne toujours pas.

Quand je double clique sur mon poste linux à partir des favoris réseau d un poste xp, une fenetre d erreur s affiche et me dit en gros que cerber n est pas accessible, que je n est peut etre pas les permission, qu il faut qu j en parle a l administrateur de ce serveur, et en fin, que cerber n a pas été trouvé sur le reseau.

Voila.

Sinon, le compte manu existe bien sur les 2 pcs avec le meme mot de passe, g utilisé la commande smbpasswd -a manu, ca c est bien deroulé, et g fait les modif indiquées.

G remarqué aussi que quand je tape : samba stop, g pour réponse : shutting down smb service : echec; et shuting down nmb service : ok.

lorsque je tape samba restart : c pareille et ca rame pendant longtemp sans que rien ne se passe. Je me demande si mon samba n est pas malade ou dans une version instable.

Il m a été livré avec la mandriva free 2006.
Il me semble que c la version de samba 3.0.20, si ca pe aider.

G résolu mon problème !!

Pour cela j'ai installé une mandriva 2005 LE sur un autre poste, j'ai constaté que je pouvait accéder à ses partages à partir d'un poste xp et d'un poste linux, donc j'ai remplacé le fichier smb.conf de moon mandriva 2006 par celui de mon mandriva 2005; j'ai fait les modifs necéssaire pour le nom de ma machine et pour les partages, et ca fonctionne.

Néanmoins, je ne sais pas pourquoi !!

Je vais donc mettre mes 2 fichier smb.conf à votre disposition, et si quelqun trouve le pourquoi du comment ca marche avec un et pas avec l'autre, ce serait sympa de me le faire savoir.
