Compatibility of Norton Internet Security with Firefox 3.5
A hotfix has been released for the Norton toolbar to support Firefox 3.5. Before you download the hotfix, make sure that your Norton Internet Security 2009 is updated to the latest version.
STEP 1
Run LiveUpdate

Start Norton Internet Security.

In the Computer pane, click Run LiveUpdate.

When LiveUpdate finishes installing updates, click OK.

If prompted, restart the computer.

Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Norton LiveUpdate finished - No updates found".
STEP 2
Download and run the hotfix

Download the fix tool.
Save the file to the Windows desktop.

On the Windows desktop, double-click the file.

In the Open File - Security Warning window, click Run.

In the Norton Hotfix window, click Yes.

Accept the license agreement, and click OK.
6
Follow the on-screen instructions.
You may need to restart your computer after running this tool.
