J'ai trouvé de nouvelles infos : Ubuntu 9.04 marche, mais la 3D a encore du mal ... M'enfin c'est toujours mieux que rien.
Un tuto ici :
1) install the desktop i386 .iso OR the lpia, it's your own choice, you won't really notice nay difference in performance between either (lpia is a modified i386 package with compiler tags that are supposed to be optimized for Atom, but I found i386 ran great...)
2) install updates FIRST (do NOT add backports or proposed sources)
3) restart
3) use the repos available at (http://edge.launchpad.net/... to install these metapackages: 'poulsbo-driver-2d' and 'poulsbo-driver-3d'
4) Use Gedit to edit the file '/usr/bin/compiz' : in the "whitelisted drivers line", add 'psb' to the list
5) save and restart
6) turn on/off any effects you see fit with CCSM or System > Appearance > Effects
